GENSAN VIEW RESORT opened  last December 8,2009 and it’s a wifi hotspot located at  Nursery Road (after Sussana Homes) Lagao, General Santos City. It was January 28, 2010 Gensan Bloggers gathered for a plurkfiesta at the said resort and had a chance to meet the owner Mr. and Mrs.  Joel Santos ( former PBA player ) a grandson of  Gen. Paulino Santos  which our place  ” General Santos City” named after him.

I honestly like the place. The water is lucid, filtered and salt chlorinator. The pool  has 28 meters length and 5 1/2 depth with slide.

Many thanks to the brilliant ideas of Avel Manansala and Mikko for organizing the Google Mapping in Gensan last December 29, 2009 at Cafe Amoree, Mabuhay Road, General Santos City who is also our major sponsor.  Orginizing the said event is not that easy. The purpose of this activity  is to provide  Google an up-to-date  details about gensan.

It was great experienced and I learned a lot.  It was a fulfillment for me to help gensan to promote and to be known in Google. =) I am hoping and wishing that there will be a part two.

The almost two hour Air Supply Concert was a night to remember.  The best concert I had experienced.  As Graham Russell and Russell Hitchcock performs last night at Lagao Gym, their excellent high pitch voice makes the mob carried away and sang  as well.

You heard it right. Air Supply is coming to Gensan for a Concert on October 2, 2009 at 8 p.m.,  Friday at  Lagao Gymnasium, General Santos City.

Yesterday at Coffee Club 101 the Gensan Bloggers was awarded a gift certificate and Air Supply tickets for those who won a write up contest ” What Air Supply Song Are you”? Park at 6 a.m

The City Government of General Santos City spent worth 33 million budget for the renovation of  the said park which is “Plaza Heneral Santos” . Many generals admired the City project. Aside from going to the mall for relaxation we can now visit the park for family picnic and other activities. I went there last week for a jog early morning around 5 a.m. and I like the place.  Since it is new there are some rules and regulations to be followed:

Today is the starting of   the 5th National Tourism Week Celebration with the theme “Tourism Celebrating Diversity”. I got an invitation from a  friend to join the said event. A must see actvities are:  Miss Tourism 2009 , Mural Painting Contest, Cocktail and Mocktail Competition, Quizbee, Extemporaneous Speaking, Photo Contest for Elementary, Antique Contest and Cultural Dance.

It was a huge success the GTX 2009 ( Gensan Tuna Festival Extreme) celebration. So many activities that the generals enjoyed it.  I even witnessed some of  the said activities.
